Practice at your own risk
Yoga is physical activity, and any physical activity carries some risk of injury. You choose which poses and exercises to do and how far to go. Use the easier versions in our guides, stop if something hurts, and talk to your doctor first if you have a health condition, an injury or are pregnant.
Research and facts change
We summarize research as carefully as we can, link our sources and show when each guide was last reviewed. Research moves on, though, and we can’t promise that everything is current when you read it.

Our gear suggestions are built from makers’ specifications, warranties and return policies. They are not hands-on tests. Products, prices and availability change; check the seller’s page before you buy.
